Sister Mary Ann Kinsella, RDC, formerly known as Sister Mary Norbert, entered the congregation on September 3, 1959 and pronounced her final vows on March 30, 1967.
She was a 4th grade teacher at Sacred Heart School Hartsdale from 1964 to 1966 and taught 4th and 7th grades at St. Anthony’s School, White Plains from 1966 to 1970. From 1970 to 1988 she served at Good Counsel Academy High School teaching religion and algebra and later acted as Dean of Students.
In 1988 and 1989 Sister Mary Ann participated in the Career Options Program at Calvary. During 1990 she served as the Registrar in the clinic area of Our Lady of Mercy Hospital. From 1990 until 1993, Sister Mary Ann was a Pastoral Associate at St. Vito’s in Mamaroneck until she became Director of Guidance at Preston High School, her current position.
Sister graduated from Preston High School in 1959 and received her Bachelor’s degree from Good Counsel College in White Plains in 1964. Later she received a Masters degree in religious education from Manhattan College in the Bronx.
